What if my manufacturer, module, or inverter are not in the available selections?

Solmetric is working to provide a complete and up-to-date database of modules and inverters. However, PV Designer is flexible and gives you the flexibility to enter custom specifications. With PV Designer revision 3.0 or higher, it is possible to customize the data for your module or inverter. This can be done when creating a new design by selecting Custom, then defining your own parameters. You can store the custom module or inverter with your own name, then “Load” the file by browsing to its location and selecting the file. Note that it is also possible to begin with a Factory module or inverter that is already in the database, and then selecting Save as Custom.. which will allow you to adjust specific parameters and give the module or inverter a custom name with custom new specifications.
