The Solmetric Certified™ Shade Analysis course is an online, interactive course that trains the student on best practices in the use of the Solmetric SunEye™ and performing accurate Shade Analysis Measurements.
Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate along with the Shade Analysis Badge to be placed on business cards, resumes, and solar designs. The purpose of this course is to increase the student’s understanding of the theory and concepts behind Shade Analysis, how to then use those concepts in the field to develop accurate Shade Analysis Measurements & Reports, and to become a proficient user of the SunEye.
This course allows the student to work at their own pace. Typically the entire program takes 4-6 hours to complete. There is interactive media and activities throughout the course that simulate a hands-on experience for the student.

Learning materials required for this online course are an internet connection and a computer/ tablet (Mac or PC).
Student will have access to the course for 2 weeks from date and time of purchase.
There will be a final exam comprised of randomly selected questions from each of the seven sections. A passing score of at least 75% is required to complete the section quizzes and final exam.
The student’s user ID for the course is their email address. The course can only be assigned once per email address.
