Can I run the PV Analyzer software on a Mac?
The PV Analyzer software works on Windows® XP, Vista, and 7 operating systems. Mac users can run the software in an emulated Windows environment, but not in the Apple Operating System.
How do I upgrade the PV Analyzer software if a new version becomes available?
The installation file for the latest version of the PV Analyzer software is available for download on the Support page at the Solmetric website at www.solmetric.com. Download and execute the install file to start the installation wizard which will guide you through the upgrade installation process.
Why do I need two USB ports on the Windows PC running the PV Analyzer software?
One USB port is used for the wireless USB adapter that connects to the I-V measurement unit. Another USB port is used for the wireless USB receiver that connects to the PVA Wireless Sensor Kit temperature and irradiance sensor transmitters. So the second USB port is required for use with the Wireless Sensor Kit.
Is the PVA Wireless USB Adapter tied to one specific PV Analyzer measurement unit?
Yes. Each PVA Wireless USB Adapter is specific to one PVA I-V Measurement Unit. If the adapter is lost or damaged, it must be replaced with a specific adapter for that PVA. Contact Solmetric for details.
Does PV Designer Provide Financial Analysis?
